In celebration of the 74th Adlaw sa Iligan, the Executive Management Board of the Grand Triple Day Celebration 2024 invites you to join us in celebrating the vibrant tapestry of our city's rich history and culture. You may participate by sharing your cherished old photos that encapsulate the essence of Iligan's journey through time.

Let's come together to reminisce, honor our roots, and weave together the stories that have shaped our beloved Iligan.

𝐇𝐎𝐖 𝐓𝐎 𝐉𝐎𝐈𝐍?

To be part of this event, please follow these guidelines:

Eligibility: Participation is open to all Iliganons aged 18 years old and above.

Submission Criteria:
- Share your oldest photo that holds significance to Iligan City. This could include landmarks, establishments, personalities, events, and more. Ensure that the photo is original and not sourced from elsewhere.
- Include the date the photo was taken, a captivating story caption, and your name as the author in your post.
- Strictly no photo editing or manipulation is permitted.

Posting Instructions:
- Use the official hashtags: #Happy74thAdlawSaIligan, #4KIPhotoContest, #VivaTurismoIligan, #AsensoIliganon.
- Post your entry on Facebook along with a descriptive caption for your photo.

Entry Limit: Each participant is allowed to submit only one entry.

Submission Deadline: The deadline for submissions is until 12:00 PM on June 15, 2024.

Employee Exclusion: Employees of the City Tourism Office are not eligible to participate in the contest.

Awards:
- Three major awards will be given: Champion, 1st Runner-up, and 2nd Runner-up. These will be bestowed upon the photos that best capture the history, story, and heart of Iliganon.
- Additional minor awards include Oldest Photo (based on the earliest year taken), Most Popular (determined by the highest number of likes, comments, and shares), and Best Storytelling (chosen by the judges).
- Ten consolation prizes will also be awarded to selected entries.

Prizes are as follows:
Champion: Php 3,000
1st Runner Up: Php 2,000
2nd Runner Up: Php 1000

Minor Awards: Php 1000 (each)
Consolation Prizes: Php 500

We bring you stories of Iligan City this coming June 2024, as we celebrate its 74th Founding Anniversary. Lakbay Ilihan: Handuraw sa Kasaysayan sa Iligan is a 2-scheduled event for pre-select groups and individuals whom we know can help us create spaces for meaningful conversations and interactive exchange while learning the stories of the yesteryears.

The Iligan City’s 74th founding anniversary is a historic milestone and an experience of greater connection. The people of Iligan celebrate resilience, traditions, and unity and highlight beauty in diversity reflecting progress and development since its founding in 1950. As a chartered city, Iligan’s journey from its modest beginnings to its current prominence ignites a desire to uncover the stories and traditions that shaped a deeper appreciation of its cultural pride and heritage. Lakbay Diyalogo Travel Services and Consultancy in collaboration with the Iligan City Tour Guides and Iligan City Tartanilla Livelihood Association intends to facilitate a commemorative celebration that serves as a platform of recall, story-telling, and looking forth through journeys in dialogue.

We are grateful that the LGU Iligan provided us with financial support to realize these important events. This important project is called Lakbay Ilihan: Handuraw sa Kasaysayan sa Iligan. It is a series of immersive heritage and cultural tours. The preselect participants would journey together through its rooted connection in dialogue and indulge themselves through storytelling and exchanges while in motion within the city’s captivating historical account, creative spaces, iconic monuments, and symbols.

Lakbay Ilihan is an experience emphasizing exploration and interactive tours of Iligan City’s rich cultural history and traditional heritage. This is designed to cater to a diverse audience, including students, teachers, LGU employees, local tour operators within NorthMin areas, visitors, tourists, media, and social media influencers. Each tour segment offers a unique experience that showcases Iligan's vibrant heritage and culture.

Na-download na sa LGU ang pundo ug mag-skedyul nalang ang City Agriculturist Office sa pag-release sa ayuda.

Samtang ang ubang benepisyaryo nga mitambong sa distribusyon sa ayuda ni Pangulong Ferdinande “Bongbong” Marcos Jr., mga benepisyaryo sa Assistance for Individuals in Crisis Situations o AICS nga programa sa Department of Social Welfare and Development. Dili lang kini mga mag-uuma apan mga pamilya usab nga apektado ang negosyo sa El Niño, nanginahanglan og medical assistance, shelter, edukasyon ug uban pa.

Dunay 5,000 ka mga benepisyaryo nga gi-identify sa Congressional Office ni Representative Celso Regencia, ug 5,000 sab ang gi-identify sa LGU.

“Sa parte sa LGU, walay barangay Official nga giapil sa lista,” dugang ni Padilla.

Sa sinugdanan sab, gi-pahibalo na ni Iligan Mayor Freddie Siao nga tibuok P10,000 ang madawat sa matag benepisyaryo sa AICS ug walay magbahin-bahin sa maong kantidad.
